At First United Bank Center
He hopes his passes lead to points for the Dons duo Thursday night. Brittain, Baker and Forman will be North teammates during the 38th Annual Texas Golden Spread All-Star High School Basketball Tournament.
This three-day tournament featuring area seniors begins Thursday at the First United Bank Center in Canyon. The championship games are set for 6 p.m. (girls) and 8 p.m. (boys) Saturday.
Randall and Palo Duro were ranked among the top five in Class 4A throughout this past season. Randall reached the regional semifinals, while Palo Duro advanced to the regional final.
Palo Duro defeated Randall twice before sellout crowds in District 3-4A games.
"Those are games you will never forget and will tell your kids about," Brittian said.
Brittain was Randall's pass-first point guard who averaged 7.9 assists and nine points per game.
Baker and Forman, both 6-foot-5, can run the floor, rebound, shoot 3-pointers and block shots. Baker averaged 15.7 points and six rebounds per game, while Forman scored 12.9 an outing and hauled down 8.9 rebounds a game.
The trio will play for the North against the South at 8 p.m. Friday. Not only will Brittain be playing with his former rivals, he will be playing against Randall teammate Kendall Cogburn.
"This is all for fun," Brittain said. "I have played with those guys on the same team before back in summer tournaments when we were younger. I do have a lot of respect for their game.
''We know each other's games well enough after running up and down the floor for a few games."
Brittain said players don't discuss the PD-Randall games much.
"There isn't a lot to talk about," Brittain said. "We just talk about next year and college."
Brittain said he looks forward to one particular aspect of playing on the same team with Baker and Forman.
"Definitely, we will try and get them a couple of dunks," Brittain said.
