Athlete of the Week: Cameron Swarb

On the Week: The senior qualified for state in two sports for the second straight year after winning regional titles in golf and tennis in boys doubles, teaming with his bother, Cragar. The regional golf title was the third for Swarb, who has signed to play at Lubbock Christian. The tennis title was his first after finishing second in the region last year.

Coach Warren Swarb: "He competes in a lot of sports, but golfing is his thing. He spends a lot of time with tennis though. It's not like he goes and picks up the racket when tennis season rolls around. It's something he practices and works hard on all year long."

Cameron Swarb: "It was a lot bigger deal this year because I did it with my brother and it's my senior year. Plus, I won both events instead of finishing second like last year. Our goal is always to win, and that's been the objective from day one."

Favorite Athlete: Tennis player Rafael Nadal.

Favorite Thing About Golf/Tennis: "Competing in sports I can play my whole life."
