2nd Grade Math, Social Studies & Science
I graduated from Borger High School. I have attended Frank Phillips College, Wayland Baptist University, and West Texas A & M University. I graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 1988. I then returned to college in 2004 to pursue my teaching certification.
I have a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. My original certification was Grades 4-8 Math and Science. I have added certifications to be a Generalist grades 4-8. Then, later I added the certification of Generalist EC-6.
I began teaching in White Deer August 2013. I taught 4th grade English Language Arts. In 2014, I moved to 2nd grade. I taught ELA one year. Then the last four years, I taught math, science, and social studies in 2nd grade. This year I will be teaching first grade.
I started my teaching career in 2006. I taught 6th and 7th grade math at Perryton Junior High. Then, I moved to Groom School where I taught 4th and 5th grade math, science, and social studies for 5 years.
I am married to Rick Clifton for 27 years. Rick is a crew leader in the Parks Department for the City of Pampa. We have two sons, Eric, and Jacob. Eric is 26 years old. He currently lives in Groom, TX. He works for Groom EMS as a Paramedic and is a member of Groom Fire Department. Jacob is 23 years old and works for Hemphill County Hospital. He is a Paramedic and is currently the Director of Gray County EMS. He is the Fire Chief of Skellytown Volunteer Fire Department. I have one dog,Gizmo, I also have four “granddogs”; Penny,Emma, Red, and Blue.
