About Me

I am a White Deer High School graduate.  After High School, I went to Frank Phillips Jr. College and then transferred to Oklahoma State University.  I graduated from OSU in 1986. I also attended West Texas A&M University to become a teacher in Texas.

After college, I moved to Dallas where I worked for the Texas Society of CPA's as a Software Specialist.  I later became the Trainer and Help Desk for over 400 employees.

One weekend I ventured home to White Deer and met my husband.  We were married and relocated back to the Texas Panhandle in 1991.  I am currently the Technology Director for the district.

My husband is retired.  We have 4 children.  Our oldest son, Cameron graduated from Oklahoma State University and works throughout the entire Panhandle as an agronomist, etc. He and his wife, Lynsey reside in Guymon.  Lynsey is a Texas Tech Graduate who works in the cattle industry. They also raise show cattle.

Our middle son, Casey, and his wife, Lexi are both West Texas A&M University graduates. Casey works for Nutrien Ag Solutions and Lexi is a nurse.  They live in Spearman. Casey and Lexi are the proud parents of Kyson and Brighton.

Our youngest son, Cuyler is a graduate of West Texas A&M University and is employed by Pohnert Farms. He and his wife Jordan reside in White Deer where she works for West Texas Ag.

Our oldest, daughter, Melissa, is married to Jacob Whitaker, and they live in Amarillo.  She works for the Area Agency on Aging.  She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a master's in Social Work.  Jake works as a machinist.  They are the proud parents of Kenzie and Carson.
