Technology

White Deer Independent School District’s goal is to provide educational excellence to students and staff by making available the appropriate and relevant technical resources. All staff and students must have a signed copy of the Technology Acceptable Use Policy on file in order to gain access to our school network and computers.

Read the Acceptable Use Policy, Bring Your Own Device policy and the Social Media Guidelines Agreement carefully. When you and your parent/guardian sign it, you agree to follow it.

The network is provided for staff and students to conduct research and communicate with others in the educational realm. Independent access to network services is provided to students who agree to act in a considerate and responsible manner. Always remember that “Access is a privilege and not a right.”

WDISD is a 1:1 school district. Students Pre-K-2nd have a set of classroom iPads, students 3rd-5th  have a classroom set of Chromebooks, and students 6th-12th have their own Chromebook that they are allowed to bring home.
